Basketball Recap: Kewaskum Takes a Loss

Kewaskum lost against Winnebago Lutheran Academy back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kewaskum Indians took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewaskum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-15.

Coming up, Kewaskum will be playing in front of their home fans against Ripon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Kewaskum is facing Ripon at the right time seeing as Ripon is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, they will head out to challenge Laconia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laconia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Winnebago Lutheran Academy likes a good challenge.
