Softball Recap: North East Carolina Prep Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for North East Carolina Prep's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Perquimans Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Husky in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost nine in a row.

North East Carolina Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Perquimans, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, North East Carolina Prep will be playing at home against Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Perquimans, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Holmes on the 19th.
