Baseball Recap: Vina Comes Up Short

Vina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Waterloo Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-9 back in March.

Vina's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Waterloo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Vina will venture away from home to square off against Cherokee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waterloo, they will challenge Shoals Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
