Baseball Recap: Cedar Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wyoming on Saturday, Cedar Springs came back down to earth. The Red Hawks fell 10-5 to the Wolves on Saturday. The Red Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 13-4.

Cedar Springs saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Mullins, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Callen McCulloch was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Cedar Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Wyoming, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Springs will square off against Allendale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wyoming, they will take on West Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
