Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Signal Mountain). They blew past the Sequoyah Chiefs, posting a 47-12 victory. With the Eagles ahead 47-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Signal Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bo Cooper, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only five carries. Eli Walker was another key back, rushing for 61 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

The win snapped Signal Mountain's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Sequoyah, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Signal Mountain will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brainerd at 7:00 p.m. As for Sequoyah, they will venture away from home to take on Hixson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
