Baseball Recap: James Buchanan's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Littlestown last Wednesday, James Buchanan came back down to earth. The Rockets fell just short of the Northern York Polar Bears by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Polar Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

James Buchanan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Bell, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, James Buchanan fell to 2-1.

James Buchanan has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Greencastle-Antrim on the 26th. As for Northern York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Boiling Springs on the 26th.
