Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Mustangs vs. El Camino Eagles + How To Watch

The Foothill Mustangs will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the El Camino Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Foothill is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a 67-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Colfax on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tomari Harris, who posted 25 points and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Cameron Underwood was another key player, going 6-for-7 to rack up 15 points.

Meanwhile, El Camino unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 50-39 to Antioch on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Everything came up roses for Foothill against El Camino in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 60-25 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
