Basketball Game Preview: Galileo Lions vs. Lincoln Mustangs

Galileo hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Galileo Lions will head out to square off against the Lincoln Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Lincoln will be up against a hot Galileo team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Galileo breezed by Mission to the tune of 74-46 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Lincoln got the win against Mission on Friday by a conclusive 74-52. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Lincoln is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Galileo, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Galileo came up short against Lincoln in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 64-53. Can Galileo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
