Basketball Recap: Jaxson Randolph Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over the Laytonville Warriors. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.

Cloverdale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Randolph, who went 8 of 17 en route to 21 points along with seven boards and five steals. With that strong performance, Randolph is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorge Guerrero, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The victory got Cloverdale back to even at 2-2. As for Laytonville, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
