Basketball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Central last Thursday, Crestview came back down to earth. The Crestview Cougars took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edison Chargers. The Cougars have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

When Crestview and Edison next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Crestview will try to stop New London's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Edison will face off against Margaretta and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
