Hersey and Prospect are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Huskies will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Knights at 4:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Hersey and Conant had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Huskies fell 10-7 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Huskies have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Libertyville hit Prospect with a four-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Hersey's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Prospect, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
