There's no place like home for Licking, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Iberia Rangers 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Licking has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Iberia, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Licking has already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Fair Grove on the 12th. As for Iberia, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 victory against Cole Camp on the 12th.
