Football Game Recap: Cave Spring vs. Alleghany

Their game last week wasn't at all kind to Cave Spring, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They blew past Alleghany 48-19. That result was just more of the same for Cave Spring, who also won the last time these teams played.

Cave Spring's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Alleghany came up with 12 to make it 28-12 heading into the break. The Cave Spring defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The win got them back to even at 2-2. Alleghany are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Cave Spring will look to defend their home turf next week against Pulaski County at 7:00 PM. Alleghany will stay at home against Radford at 7:00 PM.
