Baseball Recap: Beaumont Takes a Loss

Beaumont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Colony Titans.

Beaumont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ronnie Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Beaumont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Colony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Beaumont is taking a road trip to take on Citrus Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blackhawks have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Colony, they will welcome Los Altos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
