Basketball Recap: Crofton Takes a Loss

Crofton was the 63-58 winner over Wynot when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Crofton Warriors lost 53-31 to the Wynot Blue Devils on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 22 points.

Despite the loss, Crofton still got an impressive performance from Trevor Allen, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jace Panning, who earned eight points.

It was another big night for Kotner Koch, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points and four steals for Wynot. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasen Koch, who put up six points and ten rebounds.

Crofton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Wynot, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Crofton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-30 loss against O'Neill on the 3rd. As for Wynot, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-40 defeat against Howard on the 4th.
