Football Recap: Blacksburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Blacksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Chesnee Eagles and fell 48-19. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Blacksburg's record now sits at 0-7. As for Chesnee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Blacksburg is set to take on their familiar foe Landrum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chesnee will square off against rival Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
