Baseball Recap: Franklin Hornets vs. A.J. Ellender Patriots

Franklin had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it seven. They came up short against the A.J. Ellender Patriots, falling 13-3. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

As for A.J. Ellender, their win bumped their record up to 1-0. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14, 2025 (when they won 12-1).
