Soccer Game Preview: Banning vs. Carson

The Banning Pilots are taking a road trip to take on the Carson Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Banning is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Banning is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Rancho Dominguez with a sharp 8-3 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Banning, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Carson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. Neither they nor Gardena could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Carson have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

Banning's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. Carson's draw makes their record 8-4-4 this season.

Banning beat Carson 2-0 when the teams last played back in December of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pilots since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
