Softball Recap: Picayune Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Picayune's offense. They fell 4-0 to the George County Rebels on Friday. The Maroon Tide's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Picayune's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for George County, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Picayune will challenge Biloxi at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Maroon Tide's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
