Softball Recap: Western Brown's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Western Brown had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mercy McAuley Wolves an 11-0 shutout. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Western Brown's third in a row) raised their record to 22-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mercy McAuley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
