Basketball Recap: Carlson Find Success

Carlson won the last time they faced Taylor and things went their way on Thursday too. The Carlson Marauders skirted past the Taylor Griffins 57-55.

Among those leading the charge was Matt MacBride, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Saavedra, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Carlson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Taylor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Carlson will head out to face off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor, they will host Allen Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
