             The Guyer Wildcats will challenge the Pearce Mustangs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Guyer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  52-30 margin over McKinney. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Kevin Sperry was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes, while also rushing for 100 yards on only 14 carries. A healthy portion of  Sperry's aerial production (87 yards to be exact)  went to  Mason White, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Pearce came tearing into  Friday's  game with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   36-28  victory over the Colts.
 One reason for the win was Pearce's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. In that department,  Luke Stotts was the leader with two. Another thorn in Arlington's side was  Zach Simpson, who forced a fumble and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Pearce's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 49.3 points per game. As for Guyer, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season.
