Basketball Preview: Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals vs. College Prep of America Thunder

Blue Island Eisenhower has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the College Prep of America Thunder at 3:30 p.m. on February 3rd. One thing working in Blue Island Eisenhower's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 contests.

Given Blue Island Eisenhower's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Rams are ranked 413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, College Prep of America entered their tilt with the Hurricanes with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. College Prep of America blew past the Hurricanes 65-25 at home on Wednesday.

It was another big night for Ibrahim Elagha, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Essa Surti was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Blue Island Eisenhower pushed their record up to 20-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for College Prep of America, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
