Soccer Recap: Wasatch Academy Comes Up Short

Wasatch Academy's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles by a score of 4-3. Wasatch Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Freedom Prep Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Wasatch Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-9.

Coming up, Wasatch Academy will face off against Waterford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will challenge Wendover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom Prep Academy will be up against Wendover's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.36 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
