Volleyball Recap: Elite Scholars Academy Takes a Loss

Elite Scholars Academy lost against Jonesboro back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Royal Knights fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The Royal Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elite Scholars Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-19, 15-6.

Elite Scholars Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jonesboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Elite Scholars Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mount Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Jonesboro, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against East Paulding on the 9th.
