Baseball Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Fatima Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in April.

Hallsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Fatima, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Hallsville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Southern Boone on the 9th. As for Fatima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Eldon on the 9th.
