Fort Loramie comes up short despite Alex Boeger's dominant performance

The Fort Loramie Redskins were the 57-28 winner over the Anna Rockets when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Fort Loramie was outmatched by Anna at home and fell 51-19. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fort Loramie has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Fort Loramie lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Alex Boeger. Despite the final result, he scored nine points. Boeger also grabbed two steals for the first time this season.
Fort Loramie has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Anna, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Loramie will take on Russia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anna won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Minster at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th.
