Central Valley is 7-2 against Cheney since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will host the Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Central Valley managed to slip by Ferris the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Saxons on Thursday, falling 16-6. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Cheney lost 13-1 to Mead on Thursday. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Millie Beito, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Central Valley's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cheney, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Central Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Cheney when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 9-7. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blackhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
