Soccer Game Preview: Hart vs. Ravenna

Hart is 1-8-1 against Ravenna since June of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Hart will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Hart will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Whitehall, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Pirates won by a goal and slipped past the Vikings 2-1.

Meanwhile, Ravenna kept a clean sheet against Newaygo on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 4-0 victory. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Ravenna yet this season.

Hart's win bumped their record up to 3-4-2. As for Ravenna, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Hart skirted past Ravenna 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
