Becker Made His Presence Known in Skyline's 66-22 Victory

Starting off the list is Skyline's Payton Becker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Becker made 17 total tackles.

The win got Skyline back to even at 3-3. Becker's next matchup is against South Central on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Fairfield's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Connor Fowler

Thanks in part to Connor Fowler, Fairfield said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Pretty Prairie had no answer to Fowler on Friday as he rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 57 yards and a touchdown. Fowler's longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The win got Fairfield back to even at 3-3. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons takes on Norwich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nathan Reed and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

Nathan Reed was instrumental in extending Central Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Reed as he threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles.

For the year, Reed has thrown 16 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 160.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 7.17 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 33 rushing yards.

Central Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Piercen Huff. Huff turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown.

On the season, Huff has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 36.2 receiving yards per game.

Brodie Snodgrass Makes It Two for Fairfield

The second Fairfield player making an appearance here is Brodie Snodgrass, and for good reason. He made three total tackles. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.
