After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River Ridge, Hudson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Fivay Falcons 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Cobras: when they faced off against the Falcons last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Hudson wouldn't go down easily and took Fivay into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Hudson moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Fivay, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hudson will face off against Anclote at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fivay, they will be playing at home against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
