Football Game Preview: Gleason Bulldogs vs. Greenfield Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Gleason Bulldogs will challenge the Greenfield Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gleason easily dispatched West Carroll on October 10th, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bulldogs fell just short of Humboldt by a score of 24-22 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greenfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 10th. They managed a 26-21 victory over Lake County on Friday.

Greenfield found their leader in sophomore Westin Porter, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of TDs. Porter also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Yellowjackets are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. Easton Sullivan helped out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards.

Greenfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Greenfield's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Gleason, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
