Preview: Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders vs. West Pioneers
Kapaun Mt. Carmel is 10-0 against the Pioneers since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders will be playing at home against the West Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Kapaun Mt. Carmel is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Pioneers in Kansas (the Crusaders are ranked 139th, while the Pioneers are ranked 330th).
Kapaun Mt. Carmel can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 63-20 victory over North. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kapaun Mt. Carmel.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to West, who are still winless after their 11th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 49-9 loss at the hands of Southeast.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for West, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Kapaun Mt. Carmel against the Pioneers when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 80-11 win. Will Kapaun Mt. Carmel repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
