Soccer Recap: Prairie Ridge Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Prairie Ridge kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Grayslake North Knights who were credited with the win. If Prairie Ridge were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Grayslake North when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie Ridge will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grayslake North, they will be taking part in a tournament against Warren Township at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
