Volleyball Recap: Miami Springs Takes a Loss

Miami Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie.

Miami Springs took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 23-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Miami Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Miami Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Booker T. Washington on the 10th. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Archimedean on the 10th.
