Sherando had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Strasburg Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 5th.

While Sherando won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Sherando's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Strasburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherando will square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strasburg, they will venture away from home to take on Clarke County at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
