Kegan Lane posted a new career-high in rushing touchdowns on Saturday. He rushed for 128 yards and three scores on only eight carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Cowanesque Valley's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Lane and Cowanesque Valley are on the road again on Friday to play Northwest Area at 7:00 p.m. Lane will face off against Shane Hempel, the Rangers' star running back. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
