Basketball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Has No Trouble Against Arete Prep

Gilbert Classical Academy lost to Arete Prep back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans blew past the Arete Prep CHARGERS 60-38. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Arete Prep had strong showings from Harrison Kremer, who posted 16 points and five rebounds, and Brady Conklin, who put up six points.

Gilbert Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Arete Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

Gilbert Classical Academy will head out to take on San Tan Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in San Tan Charter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. As for Arete Prep, they will welcome Chandler Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arete Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
