Flag Football Recap: Sweetwater Takes a Loss

Sweetwater suffered their closest loss since September 16, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hilltop Lancers by a score of 9-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost six in a row.

Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Hilltop, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sweetwater is set to square off against their familiar foe Castle Park at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hilltop will face off against rival Chula Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
