Basketball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost against Caldera last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mountain View Cougars might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 59-49 to Caldera, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Caldera, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Mountain View will challenge Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caldera, they will welcome Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caldera knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Summit likes a good challenge.
