Volleyball Recap: Red Cloud Comes Up Short

Red Cloud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Wauneta-Palisade was led to victory by Kenzie Bardsley and Molly Yearous. Bardsley had 15 digs, while Yearous had six digs. Bardsley is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Red Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Red Cloud has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Deshler on the 2nd. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they will square off against Cheylin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
