Volleyball Recap: Red Cloud Takes a Loss

Red Cloud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Leading Wauneta-Palisade to victory were Kenzie Bardsley and Molly Yearous. Bardsley had 15 digs, while Yearous had six digs. Bardsley is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Red Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Red Cloud has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Deshler on the 2nd. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cheylin on the 4th.
