Basketball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 60-42 bruising from the Fall Creek Crickets on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crickets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-54 back in December of 2024.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Fall Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colfax will square off against Durand-Arkansaw at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fall Creek, they will face off against Gilman at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Fall Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Gilman likes a good challenge.
