Buckingham is 9-1 against Prince Edward County since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Hawks are ranked 69th).

Buckingham has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Prince Edward County, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
