Basketball Recap: Berwick Panthers vs. St. James Wildcats
After flying high against Donaldsonville on Saturday, Berwick came back down to earth. The Berwick Panthers took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. James Wildcats on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.
Berwick's loss came despite strong showings from Azyria Garrison and Shelby Taylor. Garrison dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards, while Taylor posted two points and nine rebounds. That was a full 50% of Berwick's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.
