Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport lost against Caldwell back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Redskins, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-3, 25-9.

Caldwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubrey Kress, who had seven aces. Kress has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last eight times she's played. Sophia Marshall was another key player, getting 32 assists and 11 aces.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Caldwell, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Bridgeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caldwell, they will venture away from home to square off against Conotton Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
