Volleyball Recap: Algoma Takes a Loss

Algoma was the 2-1 winner over Sturgeon Bay when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Clippers on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 13-25, 25-16.

Sofia Carmody was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and two aces.

Algoma dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sturgeon Bay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-20.

Looking ahead, Algoma will challenge Southern Door at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sturgeon Bay, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Wrightstown on the 4th.
