Cedar gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Richfield Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Reds haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Cedar's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-7.

Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cedar will head out on the road to take on Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Reds' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Richfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Millard at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
