Basketball Game Preview: West Greene Pioneers vs. Fort Cherry Rangers

The West Greene Pioneers will face off against the Fort Cherry Rangers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Greene will be strutting in after a win while Fort Cherry will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, West Greene was able to grind out a solid victory over Burgettstown, taking the game 57-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Meanwhile, Fort Cherry was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 45-44 to Jefferson-Morgan. While the Rangers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rockets 16-5 in the first quarter.

West Greene has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Fort Cherry, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
