Softball Recap: Cajun Christian Athletics Takes a Loss

Cajun Christian Athletics entered their game against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cajun Christian Athletics Gators came up short against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool, falling 17-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Gators couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cajun Christian Athletics saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lydia Tullos, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Cajun Christian Athletics' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

When Cajun Christian Athletics and Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Meanwhile, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will try to stop Good Samaritan HomeSchool's nine-game winning streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
